MWF X:  AL SNOW RETURNS SEPTEMBER 17TH IN MELROSE!

Yet another top notch, major league superstar has been added to MWF X, Saturday, September 17th at Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA - AL SNOW!

Snow made his Millennium Wrestling Federation debut in May 2006, all while still running WWE's developmental program at OVW and preparing to compete in the relaunch of ECW!  He conducted several seminars for the MWF's hungry, young athletes to help them reach "the show" and took part in several in-ring counts (historical note:  WWE superstar Kofi Kingston took part in Snow's first MWF seminar and competed on the live event that night).

Snow himself has had a career that millions of fans and thousands of pro wrestlers would die for.  Debuting in 1982, Snow has trained, wrestled and beaten the best of the best.  UFC Hall of Famer Dan "The Beast" Severn was trained for pro wrestling by Snow. On the independents, he had a heated feud with Sabu followed by die hard fans all over the country.  In Jim Cornette's Smoky Mountain Wrestling, he and Unabomb (the future Kane) defeated the Rock N Roll Express to win the SMW Tag Team Titles.  He made his ECW debut in early 1995, including some tremendous matches with Taz and the late Chris Benoit.

He made his WWE debut in 1995, first under a mask as Avatar, before joining Marty Jannetty as Leif Cassidy as the New Rockers during the WWE Tag Team Title Tournament leading up to WrestleMania XII in the spring of 1996.  The team eventually split up with Snow losing his mind after he lost matches.

With WWE and ECW trading talent, Snow returned there in 1997 and became even more insane, now with his partner Head.  He became a cult classic there, culminating in a loss to Shane Douglas in the championship main event of WrestlePalooza 98.

Snow was back in WWE soon thereafter, becoming a face of the hardcore division, winning the title six times.  He had an infamous brawl with Road Dogg nearby in Worcester, MA outside in the snow the night Mick Foley beat The Rock for his first WWE Championship.  His Hardcore Title Match with Hardcore Holly went into the Mississippi River at WWE St. Valentine's Day Massacre.  At WrestleMania XV in Philadelphia, Hardcore Holly defeated Snow and Billy Gunn in a triple threat championship match.  Snow and the late Big Boss Man had a feud that summer where the Boss Man kidnapped and stole Snow's dog Pepper and cooked him, leading to the first (and only) "Kennel from Hell" at Unforgiven 99, where the ring was surrounded by a regular steel cage trapped inside a Hell In A Cell with pit bulls around ringside.  He began a feud / partnership with Mick Foley over comments from his autobiography "Have A Nice Day" where the two had a short tag team title run.

In 2000, Snow began teaming with Steve Blackman, with the duo losing to T&A at WrestleMania XVI.  Snow went on to become the head trainer of the first four seasons of Tough Enough on MTV and Smackdown from 2001-2005.  He got himself involved in Hardcore Title mayhem at WrestleMania XVIII in Toronto.  Al became a color commentator on Sunday Night Heat with Jonathan Coachman, which led to them feuding with and even wrestling Monday Night Raw announcers Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.  He went onto become head trainer at OVW and also competed in the WWE version of ECW in 2006 before leaving the company in 2007.

He joined TNA in 2010 as a road agent, and also has been involved in an earlier angle with Mick Foley, along with the "extreme" reunion that became Hardcore Justice that summer.  Snow's also started acting, with a role in the upcoming Wizard of Oz movie.
